How can we get into college and why it's necessary for us to get in good colleges?
 First of all, you have to have enough abilities to get in college, how can you get that? Colleges are important for teenagers because it's the only way to approach the beginning of the successful life during the competitive society. The first step for us is trying hard to get into colleges. Firstly, we should look through the information on college official website to understand the main value and activities from that school, we should pick which schools would fit our personal value and can help us to come true our dream. Secondly, we should look up the requirements, deadlines and prepare the material for applying that college, such as transcript, SAT scores, teacher's recommendations and personal statement essay, etc. At last, we should sent all of our materials before the deadlines. It's the basic steps for getting through college. We are not only doing that, but also we should get a good GPA in high school. Getting in a good college in really important in our life. It's the first step we step in society, and the diploma would be one of the most important measure to know what kind of person and what's your skill. We called that a-stepping-stone to success in Chinese. And also getting in a good college is parents' expectation, maybe for some people it's also parents' hope.
For teenagers, it's our responsibilities to try hard on our school work, and try to get good grade. Getting in a good college is not only for their expectation and dream, but also for ourselves.
